MASS LogoOur membership of MASS (a national association of solicitors who specialise in road traffic accident claims) requires us to adhere to minimum service standards which are set out in the MASS Charter

The primary aim of the Society is to bring justice to the victims of road traffic accidents
  • WHAT IS MASS?

The Motor Accident Solicitors Society is a non-profit making organisation formed in 1991 in order to promote the efficient and expert provision of legal advice for those involved in road traffic accidents and to represent the interests of road accident victims.

MASS now boasts a nationwide membership of solicitors firms all with substantial experience and expertise in the handling of motor accident claims. The Society has evolved into a proactive lobbying group considering all issues affecting the claims process and a victim’s access to specialist support and advice.

MASS also actively supports a number of road safety and victim support groups and charities and works alongside them to promote safety on our roads and essential support for road accident victims and their families.
  • WHY WAS MASS FORMED?

MASS was formed to promote the highest standards of legal services through education and representation in the pursuit of justice for the victims of road traffic accidents.
  • HOW CAN MASS HELP YOU?

In the event of a road traffic accident, MASS Members are able to offer clear and comprehensive advice and the best possible service when dealing with your claim.
  • FREE ACCIDENT ADVICE

If you've been involved in a road traffic accident and require advice as to whether you have a claim, contact any MASS Member; most offer a free initial consultation without obligation.
  • GUARANTEED LEVELS OF SERVICE

If you have been involved in a road traffic accident before, you may have experienced poor quality or inexperienced advice, which can make the whole process even more stressful. In order to be accepted, all MASS Members have proved their expertise in road accident claims and have committed to adhere to the minimum service standards set down in the MASS Charter. These service levels are detailed in the MASS Charter.
  • LEGAL EXPENSES COVER

Many victims may not pursue a claim due to the concern of paying for their legal advice. MASS has produced a leaflet explaining the various options of paying for legal services, which you can discuss further with your solicitor.
