 How much will it cost?

You will be our client and will therefore receive any invoice. Our goal is to make the other side pay that bill first!

The other side should pay!   But we will still want to protect you, and your personal circumstances will dictate the best way for us to do this.  There are a number of ways, including the Conditional Fee Agreement, otherwise known as "No Win No Fee" (and even when you win that fee is repaid by the other side).

Legal Expenses Insurance

Our first step will be to explore whether you are entitled to reclaim legal costs under an existing Legal Expenses Insurance policy. This may have been something already purchased by you, or included within an existing product (like union or club membership or as part of your car loan agreement).

You may not know that you have one. For example some bus companies have legal expenses insurance cover for all of their passengers. We will find out for you and will not try and sell you something you already have!

Conditional Fee Agreements

These are often called "No Win, No Fee" agreements.

If you don't have Legal Expenses Insurance then we can ensure that you are fully protected against ending up with a legal bill. Where there are reasonable prospects of success we can offer a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) protecting you against your own legal costs, coupled with "After the Event" insurance with a leading company designed to protect you against any other fees arising.

Private Funding

And finally there is always the option of paying our bills periodically or by standing order, reclaiming those costs from the other side at the end of the day. Unsurprisingly most chose one of the previous options!
